Cancer and Haematology Our charity is here for the patients and staff at the Oxford Cancer and Haematology Centre, within the Churchill Hospital. The hospital is a leading centre for cancer treatment and research, serving a population of two and a half million from across Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties. We are pleased to share that patients treated at the Oxford Cancer Centre have rated the level of care they received as nine out of 10 for the fourth year in row in the National Cancer Patient Experience Survey 2024. And we raise funds to help our clinicians deliver the best possible care and treatment - and to make time spent in the hospital that little bit easier for our patients and their loved ones. Oxford Hospitals Charity helps to fund many important extras that go beyond the means of the NHS alone. From computer-integrated operating theatres to help guide our talented surgeons, to creating gardens and spaces of tranquillity and refuge for patients, their families and our staff. Your donations allow us to make these impactful and positive changes that help patients throughout their treatment. Celebrating eighty years of the Churchill Hospital Big improvements to Day Surgery at the Churchill Bringing the Pharmacy closer to cancer patients From cooling caps to comfortable recliners and even bringing music and art onto the wards - the charity works with our hospital staff to make a positive difference every day. We aren’t a big national charity – but because we only support the hospitals within our NHS Trust we can have a really big impact.
