About the Oxford Hospitals Charity team

We are a passionate and driven team, committed to doing the most we can to help and support patients and staff in Oxfordshire hospitals. Oxford Hospitals Charity raises around £5 million a year and we are incredibly proud of the work we do day in day out to make a difference. If you are looking for a new role, where you will wake up feeling excited and proud about your work please read on and get in touch.

Who are we?

Oxford Hospitals Charity supports the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Horton General and Oxford Children's Hospital. Every year, thanks to our incredible supporters, we are able to fund the latest innovations and provide a huge range of improvements for newborns through to our eldest patients.

We are driven by our cause

Every day the work of our charity teams enhances and improves our hospitals and the experience of our patients - thanks to the generosity of our incredible supporters. From the latest high tech medical equipment to help children in our Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, through to specialist art therapy for patients following strokes or severe accidents  - all the staff who are part of the Oxford Hospitals Charity team know that they are making a difference day in day out. Want to know more? See www.hospitalcharity.co.uk/news for all our latest stories or read our latest Impact Report.

Looking after our team is really important to us

The majority of our roles involve hybrid working; from your home, our modern Oxford office and in some cases our hospitals. We are committed to paying Oxford Living Wage, have an employee assistance programme, provide life insurance, subsidised canteen and a bike to work scheme. A number of our staff are trained mental health first aiders, and the importance of providing awareness and support in this area is championed.

What our colleagues say

"After many years of working in the charity sector, I have never felt as connected to, or by motivated by, a cause. I am really proud of the work this charity does and the role I play."

Phil, Database Officer

"I was drawn to Oxford Hospitals Charity because having worked in the corporate sector for many years, I really wanted to feel like my job was making a difference. It's been fantastic to see the tangible impact of our work first hand in the hospitals and to work with such a positive and proactive team.  It's given me such a sense of purpose and I just love my job."

Jane, Marketing & Communications Officer
