We are always grateful for the inspiring and thoughtful messages we receive from our local community at this time of year.

Do take a moment, if you can, to read a selection of some of the special words that have accompanied donations to Oxford Hospitals Charity this Christmas

May we also echo the sentiments of so many of these messages, and share our heartfelt thanks to the teams across all our hospitals working so hard. 

And thank you to all those who have supported our Christmas appeal, there is still time to donate and make a difference in your local hospitals, this Christmas and in to 2026.

• Forever indebted to the amazing team who took such good care of my nephew when he had a brain tumour and cared for Christmas. SO many thanks to the staff for all their love and work.

• I would like to leave a donation following a recent admission to the Oncology ward at the Churchill Hospital in recognition of the expert care and kindness I received during the 10 days there
  
  
• John Radcliffe Hospital saved my twin brother’s life. The air ambulance, ICU, critical care & Heart Centre doctors and teams saved his life!
  
  
• Thank you for the care and support you gave to my late Dad and step-mum, who both passed away at the John Radcliffe this year.

• The John Radcliffe Hospital saved my granddaughter's life in 2022.  We will all be forever grateful.

• The Horton has given me and my family exceptional care over the years. Both my children have been admitted to the children’s ward and the staff were wonderful, always going the extra mile.

• We are donating our Christmas card and stamp pennies to charity this year and our children chose Oxford A&E for the donation. They said " thank you so much for making our Dad better". X
