When Kelly Andrews was approaching her 25th birthday, she decided to celebrate in style by reaching for new heights with a 10,000 feet skydive!

Joining her were friends Hannah and Adam, who also had their 25th birthdays coming up. The trio took their leap of faith under perfect blue skies last weekend.

Kelly explained: “Working as an administrator at the Churchill Hospital, I see first-hand the good work done by Oxford Hospitals Charity, so I decided to use the skydive to raise funds for the Oxford Children’s Hospital.

“The skydive was amazing! I still can’t believe we actually did it,” said Kelly. “Looking at the photos and videos of the day brings a wave of emotion—it feels like a dream! We’ve raised over £1,700 so far and I still feel like I’m on cloud nine!”

“It certainly was a birthday to remember. I loved it that much, I might make it a yearly thing!”

Lorna Eaton, from Oxford Hospitals Charity said: “What an amazing way to celebrate your birthday and make a difference for children in hospital at the same time! When I saw the photos and video Kelly shared after she had her feet back on the ground I felt like I had been there with her! We’re incredibly grateful for this special support.

And if you’re inspired, you can join our next charity skydive on July 19th for just £50. We ask you to aim to raise £450 or more. Places are limited—find out more by clicking here.
